Sad But True: Trump's Presidential Reality Is Crazier Than Even the Crazy Satire on 'VEEP'

Almost as soon as President Trump’s tense interview with Axios’s Jonathan Swan aired Monday night, Twitter accounts started comparing it to HBO’s political satire “Veep.”

“It’s like an episode of Veep but real,” tweeted Rep. Justin Amash of Michigan.

“’Oh my god it’s just like VEEP!’ I shouted as I plunged to my death,” tweeted comedian and actor Billy Eichner.
